And now for a different kind of comic... First: realization
| | |
| So my parents feel like I made the right choice in moving out, because it would be responsible. And of course because I had a 'falling out' with my dad. | |
| | |
Second: Action, judgement and revelation.
| | |
| So I move to FL with that motivation in mind, only to discover 3 months later everything sucks. The jobs available here suck, and I'm generally unhappy here. | |
| | |
Third: Same idea, different location. Only this time they're disappointed that I want to be closer to home. Apparently a couple of thousand miles wasn't far enough.
| | |
| So I tell them I'm going to move back, only not live at home with them, and suddenly I feel like an outcast again because I want to move closer to home even though they are concerned for me. | |
