Wow, I wasnt sure what to make of it at first, you know tinkering with the classics, but after tidying up a few of my comics, especially the early ones I dont know how I lived without it. Cheers Brad.

Although it will make getting those all illusive landmark comic numbers even more of a challenge as someone could easily make a crap comic just to get the number, then re-edit afterwards.

Just found my first problem with editing: I edited a comic that used Background, and after I saved it, it had no background. Considering Background1 was the background I used most, this is a bad thing.

...What the ^%#* happened to Background1 anyway?

Suggestion: Now that editing comics is available, does anyone else think that deleting comics should be available to non-donars? So now when you donate, you get a fancy slick way of fixing comics, rather than having to redo them.

(Sorry if this has been brought up already, kinda just skimmed over this topic)

This also has nothing to do with the fact that I'm non-donar...

I think I just got rid of it because it was ugly one day. Nobody complained until now, so I pretty much got away with it.

I edited a comic today that used that ugly background, not because of it, but because I had made several spelling errors, I noticed that the comic editor removed it for me but didn't think much of it to be honest.

I do remember brad saying that the background was going though, you need to pay more attention.

It was one of those times Brad was concerned about expenses and bandwidth.

A few new backgrounds had just been introduced (might have included bedroom, or the plain colors ...), as well as some new characters, and Brad had said at the time that he was planning to rotate some backgrounds in and out over time. That did not come to pass.

(I was confused by Brad's message at the time because it gave the impression that several other backgrounds had been taken out of the rotation. I never could find them.)

By the way, for all you pedants out there, the background's name was simply "background," not "background1."

Yeah I think my main justification was that there were a couple of other "just a room" backgrounds and that one wasn't much different other than being uglier. I thuoght it'd be more important to have a variety of distinct locations rather than a bunch of differently coloured rooms.
