I can honestly say in all the times I've thought about Snakes on a Plane, not once did I think about a soundtrack.

That's right, I saw it. At the drive in, because a high quality movie like snakes on a plane can only really be enjoyed in an outdoor establishment in the middle of nowhere. I give it a D+. I actually expected it to be worse than it really was. The acting was terrible. Everyone is being completely calm, and Samuel L. Jackson had to fufill his "motherfuckin" quota for the movie, so he chose that exact moment of to have an outburst, which was only the tip of the unrealistic quality. Not that I expected much from this movie, as I said before.

I wasn't paying exceptional attention to the details in the movie because it was so slow moving and Pirates of the Carribean was showing on the other screen, so I was mostly watching that.

The fact you saw it at a drive-in would be why you didn't enjoy it. This a movie you need to see with a crowd in all of its hootin-an-hollerin glory.

Did anyone really expect this movie to be good? I went in the theater knowing in my heart that the movie would be a steaming pile of white snake shit, and lo and behold it was. The logic actually physically hurt me, the plot was practically nonexistant, and the acting in some of the supporting roles was horrifically bad.

It was one of the single greatest things I've ever seen in a movie theater, ever. Ever.

I really want to see it, but I hesitate for two reasons.

1. School just started and all the fratboy morons are back in town.

2. The theater here started playing commercials in the middle of movies and I'm not willing to risk $7 to be indoctrinated in corporate culture. I can do that at home for free.

Commercials? Are you kidding me? I thought that was the point of seeing the movie at the theater - no interuptions. Are they comercializing the DVD release too?
