Of course, in order to hijack the contests one would have to win a contest. Which seems unlikely, given [b]Fuzzyman's Theorem:

"Any newbie who can win a contest won't try to take over the forums, because they don't need to."[/b]

That is, the only newbies who would try to take over the forums are ones who couldn't make a good strip to save their lives, much less win a contest. Indeed, the urge to take over and lack of talent go hand in hand, as these folks feel resentment when the oldies tell them that their stuff doesn't measure up.
