Well, this one has been a tough one to judge, even with several disqualifications for sexual profanity or sexual content. These include any strip that used the words "lust," "cunt," "fuck," or "sod," as well as any that referred to specific sexual acts, such as rapping, cuddling, or masturbating. Nevertheless, several of these were quite amusing and are worth a special mention for being good strips despite breaking the rules. These include:
"Bar none" by Boorite
"Anger by default" by DexX
"lot's of sins but no lust" by fuck
It might have been easier to judge this contest if I waited until the end to read all the comics. That way, I could compare them from a more even reference point. On rereading most of the strips tonight, I reread them without laughing as much as I did the first time. So I had to rely on my memory and on how much I liked each strip on rereading. Among the top three finalists, listed below, it was a very tough choice:
"The Socks Deadly Sins" by TheElPaso
"Anger" by Bazilla
Several strips by Kaufman
Ultimately, I choose to award first place for the strip I still liked best on rereading. With this in mind,
Third place goes to Bazilla for "Anger."
Second place goes to kaufman for several strips, particularly for two called "Gluttony."
And first place goes to TheElPaso.
"The Socks Deadly Sins" was one of the strips I laughed most at, and of all the strips, whether disqualified or not, it was the one I still liked best on rereading.
