Anyone here read "Childhood's End"? This is like the end of the book where the humans are joining with the overmind and everthing is disintigrating and it makes no sense to the last human alive... People flying up in the sky, gravity getting lighter, seeing though the earth and finaly everything disapears...

I've had that book in paperback for like 25 years but I never read it. Maybe I will, just in the hopes of alleviating this wtf feeling that now grips me.
