	i was walking back to the car with the fix a flat and some guy stops and says


	i saw you dumpster diving back there


	i said, don't try to give me money. he was confused and said why not?


	i said "I have $5000 in my pocket. i'm good." this was true because we had just gotten paid. i dumpster dived a beer, which i have now drank, and a load of firewood for jake.


	in oshkosh i found jake 12 rolls of tp and a bag of groceries. they gave me a bike to bring back to brian, and gave me a fun tour of their junkyard.


	the second time today some guy offered me money i just said no thanks. wisconsonites are oddly friendly and helpful, it's almost creepy.
