2016 will be the ATM machine's 50th birthday. About time for them to retire. I mean no one uses cash nowadays.
But twice as many dollar bills are in circulation now than two decades ago.
Americans took more money out of ATMs in 2012 than they did in 2003.
And soon, some ATMs will be able to make sure that the user is REALLY the account holder with facial recognition.
