Bob and larry are going to learn about weather!!!
Hi. I am Bob the monkey.
And I am Larry the clown.
Didi you know that a blizzard is characterized by large amounts of falling or blowing snow?
Yes, and visiblilty is less than 1/4 mile for an extended period of time. Winds have to be 35mph or greater, also.
Please go to the next panel to see Larry and Bob's adventures in the snow.
So we can further understand snowstorms, we should go into one.
I agree, lets go!!!

Larry and Bob have arrived in the snow.
So now that we're here, what do you notice about the weather here?
Well, I'm cold, so blizzards must have frigid temperatures.
That's right!!! Do you know how the blizzard is formed?
As a matter of fact, I do. There is a very strong low pressure system followed by a very strong high pressure system during the winter months. Who's the smart one now?
Larry is stupid.
I am. You're reading the cue cards.
That's not the point.

Wow , it's really windy out here.
it is? I mean yeah, of course it is, how can we measure the wind speed?
We can measure the wind speed by using an anomometer.
Oh yah i knew that.
No you didn't!!!
Oh, just shut up.

Larry has much experience with yellow snow.
So now that we know how to measure the blizzard's intensity, we need to learn how to stay safe.
I know: DON'T EAT YELLOW SNOW!!
Duh. It's not lemon flavored, no matter what anyone tells you.
Actually, don't eat snow no matter what color it is. It will lower your body temperature.
Larry is doing a good job reading the cue cards.
I see.
You should also try to keep dry so you will not freeze.

If possible, you should make a shelter to protect you from the blowing winds.
If that isn't possible, make it ou of the snow.
Yay Bob and Larry!!
Once you have that done, build a fire and place rocks around it.
Remember, rule number one is to always stay warm.
Now, if you aren't in the wilderness, there is going to be a warning put out on the radio or television.
This happens because satellites take pictures of the earth and tell us what the storms are like.

Thank you for listening to our very educated comic about weather.
Did I do a good job reading the cue cards?
Bob has a little tickle in his throat.
coughnocough
Bless you. Now what was that?
Larry is pleased with himself.
Yes. Great job.
YAY!!!!!!!
