Well... not what I would call funny yet, but you do have potential.

The second strip was very bad though.

I was just posting them as I made them..but thanks for the tip.
How about some support here....

I thought I already gave that above. :/

I did say you have "potential" which is a lot more than I say for some. But as far as support goes, this isn't a healing center.

Not everyone is going to like your comics omni, that's just the way it is. It's all about what your taste in humor is. Just like some people think Jay Leno is shit and some don't.

I thought Homeland Insecurity was ok though, but that's mainly because I think Bush and Ashcroft are a couple of fucktards.

I liked the concept behind the trees in the bad part of the forest, and that was a pretty inventive use of background. I wasn't so fond of the third panel, but I give anyone who comes up with inventive use of the backgrounds a hand.

The homicidal maniac line was worth a chuckle too. However, I actually think the first strip in the thread is the funniest of the lot. There's just something about that third panel that pulls it together somehow, but I can't for the life of me articulate what it is.

Niteowl, I understand that not everyone will like it, and that's completely cool, because, as you pointed out, everyone has a different sense of humor.
I wasn't asking to be coddled, it's just that if I've been on a forum for a while, I'm not one of those who looks down his nose at newbies. I was just a bit surprised at the curtness and condescending nature of a couple of posts. But, oh well, no big deal.
I'll let it go.
I do have to say that I like a lot of what I see on this forum.
Your recent stuff about the RIAA is cool.
Drexle, thanks for helpful criticism!
Whoever it is that writes the comic with the tiki-head guy rambling on with really fucked up stories is hilarious!

I liked the Jesus comic and the one with the Christmas trees.

If a newbie can find a way to make, to the best of my knowledge, a new Jesus joke, then applause is due, also, the tree comic was clever AND funny, I liked every panel.

I'm not a fan of the Tiki head guy thing, I can't remember who does that, although I'm sure it's someone who can do a lot better.

Hmm. I only really liked the Freaky Forest one. But that's only because the rest paled in comparison, so that's two thumbs up for you.
