It just hit me when i was posting there and i posted a comic number which was 100 ahead of the one i just created.

Im now going to trust to fate in that this will actually generate 3 or 4 "Funny" comics , by posting 4 comic numbers which are between 150 and 250 comics ahead of the current number.

The future of these comics will be determined by the greatness (or otherwise) of those within the stripcreator community.

After im done, would the next volunteer please repeat the experiment and see if we can either get

1. A "Cult" comic a la tobor/rotor turbines/asiangirls

2. A Funny comic.

Here goes

201986
201926
201953
201909

The very future of stripcreator hinges upon these comics.

(A little spin never hurts.)

A long time ago we did something similar in a thread that I've tried to find but with no luck. At the time we were on comic number 20,000 or something and we ahead of time, and for posterity, posted links to comic numbers 100,000, 200,000, even up to 1,000,000. It may have even been in the colossal geek thread, I'm not sure.

Werd.

And a different idea. I didn't mean to make it sound like it was the same. I just threw it out in hopes of someone saying, "Oh, yeah. I remember that thread. Here's the link."

I think that no matter what happens in the strips, we should adopt something from one of them as a new injoke and hammer it into the ground. Just to see if we can make something funny from what potentially could be utter shit.

3 down , 1 to go. Niteowl has 2 of them for some reason.

1 more and the next person is up, else we decide whats "Cult" and drive that joke into the ground.

That's cause I went nuts earlier and made a buttload of comics for CC 227. I doubt mine are in-joke worthy since there's no words in 'em.

Okay, how about a variation in which I try to predict the authors of future comics. If any good material shows up, then pound it into the ground.

Wouldn't you?

[hr]

Here are my predictions:

-two of the comics will be produced by non-donor n00bs
-one comic by either ObiJo or boinky33
-one comic by ivytheplant
-one comic by kaufman

Now to sit back and hope the strippers mentioned don't read this thread.

And I'll be busy judging cc227 through May.

My money's on boinky. He's a leet comic-making machine.

With only seven comics, I think fat_tony qualifies as a n00b.

1 down; 4 to go...

So if you post a group of comics 150 to 250 comics ahead, what comic are you going 150 to 250 comics ahead of?

And if you post a set of four not-yet-made comics, should they all be sequential?

For example, if the comic number you are basing it off of is 200417, then the first not-yet-made comic would be 200567, right? Would the next three posts be 200568, 200569, 200570?

Maybe it can be that each not-yet-posted comic has to be at least 10 comics apart from the ones posted in a sequence.

No, it's random numbers anywhere between 150 and 250 ahead. I suppose you could do that, but they would be cunting fuckers.

Sure!

- One of the comics will be by kaufman or boinky33
- The other three will be NOOBS

Cripes, we could get a betting pool going on this.

I think FightsTheMiseries last comic there has some real "Cult" potential.

Randomly blowing things up and ending the comic in "Ah HAH , it is I , Jesus" , could be almost Skeet-Shootingly brilliant.

Realized after I posted the comic that I screwed up the line; it's "HA! It is I, Jesus" not "AHA! It is me, Jesus!" Bah. It'll be interesting to see what the other two comics are.

Its still got massive potential as a cult saying. I mean, weve never had a real use for the Jesus character other than to take the piss out of the fact hes nailed to a cross.

"AHA! It is me, Jesus!" showing up on 100 strips is now a realistic possibility. ... howabout something like this ....
