Hey, I just think "verbally bitchslap" is the lamest phrase anybody could use to describe their debating skills on an Internet message board about amateur comics.

Ahh. But it WAS involving me. So you're saying quoting me and another person and then saying MEH in big red letters is not involving me?

And for your information, the only reason I apologized to you was because of the fact that I had no right to explode at you for your ignorant comment on that thread. I should have said something without insulting you. It had nothing to do with the outlash afterward. I got off the internet immediately after I had flamed you and then felt like a heel for taking a cheap shot like that. I had noticed your comic, but AFTER I had apologized on the thread in question (the next day after flaming you). So :P If ya don't believe me, go look it up.

And if you honestly think that your debating skills are equivalent to a "bitch slap" I'd seriously reword that. Its not that you have inferior skills in debate, its the fact that bitch slap simply brings to mind a cheap shot at someone.

Actually, bitchslap is exactly like it sounds. You get slapped like the bitch you are. You're not even worth the effort of a punch is what that means.

Now, that doesn't mean that you are a bitch, Noonie, I am just explaining what the word means. I wouldn't want to have to do that. It's not a cheap shot at all, it's more like I can get the job done without using my full arsenal. As for Interlocking_Man, I guess dere be jes' one thang t'say t'you...

1) Your comics were okay, but I can see potential =D

2) MikeyG, you have this trend of starting fights in the RDMC forum. You make the thread go totally off topic and it doesn't help the person trying to get feedback at all.

I'll call your two cents and raise you a ha'penny and a coupla quid.

Hey, I don't START these fights. Perhaps I facilitate them, but by no means do I start them. In Read My Damn Comics, people post their comics for feedback. If someone sucks, I'll tell them so. So many REGULARS here do that, too, so don't hop up and down on me because I tend to look through RMDC more than most. I like to see the new blood. Some of them are good, and I tell them so. I always have when I found someone funny. But if I don't find them funny, especially when they ASK FOR FEEDBACK, I tell them so.

If you take offense to my dislike of your comics, I suggest you either focus on the positive comments, or take my advice and be more funny. I don't take kindly to someone asking for feedback, and me GIVING it to them, and then them having a shitfit. That pisses ME off. You post to RMDC, you've got to expect just about anything. I'm not obligated to give positive feedback to anybody.

If you stood in the middle of Trafalgar Square, or Times Square, butt-naked, with a microphone next to you for people to give their opinion, do you think everyone is going to tell you how much they love you?

I'm not asking for a fight by telling you what I think of your comics in RMDC. It's honest criticism, and if you want to ask WHY I think your comics suck, feel free to in the thread or PM me. Dagmar did exactly that. She PMed me to ask why I thought what I thought, and I told her. She was certainly smart enough to grasp the concept.

It's just a matter of different styles of humor, I guess. To be honest, I can't say I find any of your comics funny either, so I guess we're at a mutual impasse.

The feedback I've actually gotten from the intro comics are mixed...a third have enjoyed them, a third dislike them, and a third are fairly neutral. It's my first comic series, so cut me some slack; it would have been nice to hear more from you than just "Meh." I was hoping for constructive feedback. You have every right to dislike my work, but just saying that it sucks won't teach me anything. XD

Anyway, I do have three additional comic strips up, but I won't post them here to spare those of you who don't like 'em. You can check 'em out if you like, though.

Meh

Indifference; to be used when one simply does not care.

A: What do you want for dinner?
B: Meh.

"The verbal equivalent of a shrug of the shoulders." -quoth me

"(While holding gun to their own head) Give me one good reason why I shouldn't pull this trigger!"
"meh."

When your too lazy to give an explanation or don't want to reply at all...peh and deh are also used to replace this word after repeated constantly

Why arn't you in class?
Meh
Why did you do that...? (reply) Meh
