bunnerabb, I would not have said anything about second chances, except for the fact that skagg asked me for a second chance, in just so many words. I was satisfied to continue to dislike him, but he asked a favor, and I chose to grant it. It has nothing to do with supremacy or rule or anything like that. It has to do with fulfilling a request and trying to be fair about it.
I've held myself back from commenting at all on the Deisel situation for two reasons. The first reason is that I know that attention is what he's looking for, and his attempts for it have been feeble at best. The second reason is that I know I'm getting a reputation for being harsh with people, and I'm trying to cut that down. I find it ironic that the person who told Deisel to "shut the fuck up" is getting on my ass for the way in which I interact with people.
As for melodrama, no one else felt it necessary to jump in on the thing between me and skagg. For melodrama to thrive, it requires participants. You just helped to create what you decry.
I'm planning on going back to playing in the contests. I'm also going to continue to have opinions and share some of them. If you have a problem with that, write to your congressman.
