ivytheplant April 24, 2004 12:48 PM	I've been meaning to mention this, but never got around to it. Below is a screenshot of what I see when I use the popup menu under kaufman's comics. No one else I've looked at has a menu like this. I'm willing to blame it on IE, but if it's another bug, let me know. If it's not an IE problem, the bastard app won't let me hear the end of it.

Yeah, but it didn't used to do that. And it's just kaufman's comics. Everyone else is fine.

And my PC with IE does that as well. I can't check any of my other browsers because Mozilla fucked itself up, same with the new Netscape, Opera is a lousy browser and NOT the fastest like it claims, and Communicator insists there's a certificate expiration on SC with PayPal so it refuses to display comics properly.

By the way, Brad, your new toy filtered the "turd" out of "Saturday." Come on..."turd"? Why does that need to be filtered? I hope we can still say "crap."

I have looked high and low for similar accounts, accounts with as many comics, accounts that begin with 'K', accounts that end in 'man', I even checked my ginger feline obsessed cousin's comics and Kaufman's appears to be unique.

The only part that seems to be normal in the pull-down menu is "Kaufm" after that it goes complete bollocks and only lists as many comics as there are alternative font styles, which in OS9 isn't many.

I'm interested to see what it'd do if Kaufman didn't have his account set to "most recent comic".

Also, why a large number of the accounts that contain the word "man" haven't made any comics.

kaufman April 25, 2004 7:03 PM	Because you have a stack of comics as high as mine, and I'm wondering if the list size is somehow blowing through a buffer limit on the Mac or something, overwriting memory, and causing everything to go cosmic.

Kajun, does it do that in OSX? I'm still refusing to upgrade from 8.6 so I have no way of knowing save walking down the hall to the Mac lab from the museum and that would take effort.

The first two accounts that I checked were Boinky's then ObiJo's and both are fine.

OSX shows no such errors at all, I've never had one single bug or complaint using this.

Actually, that's a lie, the ctrl-shift functions don't work.

ivytheplant February 1, 2005 11:03 AM	boinky had the same funkiness when he hit 2,000 comics, so I figured that was it, but then kaufman's disappeared and mmyers has it. I'm starting to believe the gnome theory.
