I know that everybody has their differences. However, in my bio class today I needed to charge my computer, so I went over to one of the socket things. I was wearing a skirt for the first time without pants in like forever and I felt kind of weird so I asked this one girl I'll call "Beatrice" to please plug it in for me. Nothing rude just, hey can you plug this in (since you're sitting right there) type attitude. Well, she says to me ""you're right there. Why can't you do it?" and I said well i'm wearing a skirt and I don't want to flash anyone. She just said Well you should have thought of that before. I was likewhat's your deal, why are you being so rude. She was like I don't like you. Just like that. I mean, I didn't even really talk to her up until that point. She just acted so obnoxious, like she was better then me. If I ever ask her for anything she either tells me she doesn't have it or says oh well. I can't believe how rude this person is! Beatrice is so unmannered, she is neglecting basic civility. At the risk of flashing the whole class, I bent down and plugged it in myself. But man, how agravating!

A man in a skirt would frighten me too. You're lucky Beatrice didn't take a swing at you.

You wore a skirt without pants? Going commando does have its drawbacks, I guess...

If Safety Donkey were here, he'd say "Bending over like that is bad for your back, always bend at the knees."

The same thing happened to me.

I'm not kidding, there is a guy at my work who has to live as a woman for two years before he gets the op. He is a burly six-footer and I saw him for the 1st time yesterday wearing a skirt. To all intents and purposes he was just a guy wearing a skirt. He had a sweatop on and a pair of battered trainers. I managed to hold it but we had to exit the cafeteria 5 minutes early 'cos one of our number was beginning to get the giggles and then we all would have lost it. True story.

I don't want to be around when that guy bends over. I am not ready for that kind of mental conflict.
"Should I look? But he's a guy! But he is wearing a skirt and bending over! Good point".

Ouch. I'm a girl.

That was a preemptive 'ouch'. You're supposed to wait until I say, "I know" to "I'm a girl".

Beatrice is basically a B with an itch...

I would stop asking her for anything, not even the time. People as rude as her don't deserve any kind of acknowledgement, not even that she's alive.

Let her go on about life neglecting basic civility.
Sooner or later, what goes around comes around...

You may even get a bonus out of it if she asks you for something, when you can say "I thought you didn't like me" and walk away.

You know, this morning I had to ask her if I could be in her group because the others were too large, and she ignored me until the 4th time I asked. I just decided oh fuck it and found another group. The Beatrices of the world are all horrible people who smell.

Beatrice sounds like a horrid individual. You will learn when you get older that Beatrice will actually turn out to be not such an arrogant prick, but by that time you won't give a shit. You'll probably tell her that too, if you ever see her.

Ahh, the joys of age!
