I honestly thought he had died in recent years... but I'm glad he lived out a pretty full life, even though he had a catastrophically untimely (or timely, depending on how you view it) death. Ray Charles had everything right... great songs, great skill, great voice, heck, the guy had great f'n cover songs. So here's to this year's unsung death (so far), Ray Charles.
