So I get PV 125.

125 is, of course, an eighth of a nice round number.

Therefore, this contest will be about the number eight. I will judge it after eight different people have entered, or after eight days have elapsed -- whichever comes first. You will receive extra consideration if your entry includes a cast member from "Eight Is Enough", especially if that cast member happens to be the fabulous Dick Van Patten. You may also use Vince Van Patten since, even though he wasn't on the show, he is still the fabulous Vince Van Patten.

None of which, of course, has anything to do with the rules for this particular competition, which are:

Design an album cover, promo, etc. for someone you wouldn't normally expect to see as a vocal artist. For example:

You may choose any celebrity, stripcreator user, etc. that you wish, including, of course, the fabulous Corey Feldman.

But here's the catch:

You aren't allowed to use photos, text, photoshop, or images of any kind.

Just kidding. That would be stupid.

See you in eight!

(from the eighth anniversary issue of the Iranian version of "Highlights For Children"):

"I am this many today!"
"Oh? Then here is nice bowl of goat pee-pee for birthday boy!"

Corey Feldman has attempted a musical career several times. Check out his fabulous album "Former Child Actor" and the even more fabulous song "What's Up With Youth."

Here are some pics of him on stage http://nivasgigs.net/corey.html

Here is my favorite customer review of his album from amazon:

"It made my ears bleed. I recommend it if you're looking for something to make your ears bleed."

The pictures were beyond incredible. Truly, he is Hollywood's greatest chameleon.

The second would have been better but there was some funkiness going on with Photoshop.

Anyway, they both not only involve the number 8, but both involve Eight is Enough.

Well, this is a fierce competition. I'll extend it a few days for the sake of those who might be rushing to get those last-minute entries in under the wire.

Noones trying to do anything last minute. They're just not doing them.

You will learn the ways of the PV someday...

I dunno, Ivy. Athiest's "Weapons of Mass Compassion" is REALLY funny.

Time to stick a fork in this one. Winner will be announced tomorrow afternoon -- last minute entries should be submitted between now and then. Any entries submitted after the winner has been announced will not be eligible, since the contest will be over by then.

And the winner is -- lukket for "Neil Armstrong and the Giant Leaps"! I like old album covers and this entry got it just right. Also the Darth Vader one was good.

Second place goes to ivytheplant for "Bibleman and the Crusaders" which touched on the "Eight Is Enough" theme and displayed excellent usage of Willie Aames in his current incarnation.

All of the other entries were very good. Honorable mentions for everybody!
