You would be surprised at the number of GILFs out there, nowadays. Sorry, fuzz. I lost my dad earlier this year to cancr, so I know how you are feeling right now. Life sometimes seems so unfair.

Strangely enough, my mother died of cancer, too. Actually, from complications. Multiple Myeloma. "It's not the cancer that will kill you, it's your comprimised immune system from the Chemo and the cancer."

Sure enough, one more awful infection did her in.

I think the thing that sucked wa that a couple months after they diagnosed her with the cancer they found she needed a bypass. In the end she went through that painful excerise for the privelege of not having a fatal heart attack and lingering on for a few months of infections she couldn't fight and such.

It was exactly one year on Teusday that my stepfather died. He had a MASSIVE heart attack, and my younger brother had to pop off the hinges on the bathroom door to get at him.

CPR was not really an option, because it turns out that his heart pretty much exploded in his chest.

Losing a parent is pretty much shit, even when you hate their guts.

My sympathies go out to you all.
