You want the char on the right to speak first in one or more of the panels.
The normal way to do this in comic strips is to make the speech bubble (that needs to be read first) higher than the one that (for context) should be read last.
Any way to stick a 'Higher/Lower' tab on the comic create screen to facilitate this?

Or you can just switch the characters around ... it doesn't necessarily look bad in the middle of a strip, especially with well-chosen backgrounds.
