If I use HTML code when making a strip, it works. But once it's 'done' and saved, it's gone. Any particular reason?

Are more characters and options available to 'paying' members or does everyone use the same?

Thanks,
Myles.

There's a really cool place you can find all this stuff out. It's right here.

Everyone uses the same characters, as for the HTML question I assume Brad validates the comics on submission hence the HTML tags are removed, whereas in the preview you can still see them.

I have seen people use certain tags in the past for a few formatting things, such as bold, italic that sort of thing but I dont think they use HTML to be honest Ive never quite been sure how they do it, I assume its got something to do with the messageboard markup tags.

Just to elaborate, the HTML tags are stripped when the comic is submitted. The only exceptions are the italic and underline tags, and I think the bold tag as well (although it doesn't actually do anything as the text is already bold). I think there are also tags for large and small text, although I don't remember what they are.

I've tried the HTML code in order to make the text bigger.
etc
As you mentionned, it worked in the preview mode but the code was stripped upon saving it. Whatever i've tried underlining, though, works.

Thanks for the clear-up.

Myles.
