You can add your own art by submitting it to Brad, and if he likes he will (eventually) add it. You need to get him at a time when he's on speed, and then he'll add them like crazy.

And no you can't.

Thanks Rabid Weasle for the quick reply.

That scene in Batman was ridiculous. "Somedays, you just can't get rid of a bomb."

I can't believe that Adam West seriously thought he had a shot at being Batman in the modern day Tim Burton version.

More on topic, I do wish we had some more art to work with. I notice some older comics using "Life in Hell" characters, and I noticed a Wizard character that isn't around anymore.

Did we lose characters, and why?

Don't shoot him, he's new.

Enderandrew (Orson Scott Card may or may not be pleased), every month or so we have a newb who comes and asks that same question. I suggest you lurk in the forums for a while and see if anyone has asked that question before. (They have.)

Also, if anyone knocks you, just realize that there are other boards out there who are VICIOUS and BRUTAL about this stuff, whereas we're just intolerant and cranky.

Also, be forewarned, if you DO get knocked, and I start to see stuff like, "I only came here to make comics!", then I will remind you that making comics and running around in the forums are not mutually inclusive.

Fair enough.

In my defense, I'm a regular forum junkie. I often find forums at work (since I have 10 hour shifts with a T1 and nothing really to do) and read some 1,500 posts in a day easily.

I do tend to read FAQs, stickies, and use search features. But there are no stickies here, the FAQ doesn't cover that question, and there is no search feature.

So, I'm left to asking questions. However, I will heed your advice and pour through this area of the forum before I ask any more questions.

I would like it if we had Jiggle Belly and Happy-Time Harry characters. Sorry if someone has already said that before.

So the short of it ...

There used to be a "life in hell" category with two bongo images, each available facing both left and right.

The SC characters that are here from other comics have the blessing of their creators, some of whom may have drawn up tose images especially for the site.

However, the bongos were not gotten with the direct blessing of Groening. Rather, I believe Brad had gotten them off some other web site that may or may not have been using them with permission.

Nobody complained. Until somebody made a big fuss about it in the forums (somewhere in Fights Go Here, IIRC). And then after some soul-searching, Brad decided to take down the bongos. However, for the integrity of the earlier comics, they still carry the images.

I don't know any lost wizard image. You're not trying to find the wizard in kaddar2, are you?

If he's lost, he may need food badly.

A wizard is never lost. He arrives exactly where he means to.

Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup.

I like this explaination, Kaufman, but think it can be simplified so that we have a quick response the next time someone asks about Bongo with the simple abbreviation:

"T.U.B.A "L.I.H" C.W.T.B.I., E.A.F.B.L.A.R.

T.SC C.T.A.H.F.O.C.H.B.T.C., S.W.M.H.D.U.T.I.E.F.S.

H., B.W.N.G.W.D.B.G. R., I.B.B.H.G.T.O.S.O.W.S.T.M.MN.H.B.U.T.W.P.

N.C. U.S.M.A.B.F.A.I.I.F (S.I.F.G.H, IIRC). A.T.A.S-S.B.D.T.T.D.B. H., F.T.I.O.E.C., T.S.C.T.I."

I think that explains the saga pretty clearly, or simply using the letters H.G. (meaning 'He Gone').

We can probably shorten this even further, using the first four letters - the acronym TUBA - to stand for the whole spiel. Or better yet, next time someone asks, we blow a tuba in their ear. They'll understand.

(know any tuba.au's or tuba.wav's on line?)

I was cracking smoke and for some reason forgot that the kaddar2 set had a wizard.

Thanks for the info, but I did eventually pour through old threads and found the ( stripcreator.com is illegal ) thread. That thread made my head hurt like math.

Somedays I think stupidity should be painful.
