Anyone else ever play any Cheapass Games? I'd read about them a while ago and saw some in a little gaming store in Madison so I bought two. I got Kill Doctor Lucky and Unexploded Cow.

Kill Doctor Lucky was pretty cool, but we only got two games in before most of the people playing left. My cousin and I tried it with two but it wasn't happening. I'm itching to corral some of my friends over so I can try it again.

I was wondering about trying to build an online version of one of these, and seeing if we could wrangle enough people online at the same time to play.

Yeah, I can never get enough people together to play those games. If I could find 5 or 6 people who'd get together once every week or so to play games, there are so many I'd buy.

I also bought the Monty Python Collectible Card Game, 'Taunt You a Second Time'.

Have you played Lunch Money?

How about Gother than thou?

We actually went to the gaming store to buy a backgammon set. My cousin saw Lunch Money, which he'd played, and snatched that up. Then the guy working there (a truly colossal geek, to be sure) pointed out the MPCCG, of which I bought two decks. (But it sounds like I could use the original set.) Then I saw the Cheapass Games so I bought both of those. Then I ran the hell out of there before I could get in any more trouble.

Cheapass Games has a lot of games. They have a version of Lord of the Fries that comes in a take-out container.

Cheapass' Starbase Jeff is great fun, and I am planning to grab Kill Doctor Lucky (and Save Doctor Lucky) if I see them around. Oh, there's another one, name eludes me, in which you and a bunch of friends ram-raid a huge shopping mall, and shoot at each other with big guns to steal each other's loot.

I think that's "Spree". That one never did much for me. "Bitin' Off Heads" on the other hand is somewhat amusing.

I planned to buy a big pile of them direct from their site, but the postage literally doubled the prices, and the shitty Australian dollar doubled it again. For $us40 of games, I was looking at over $au150.

Expensive international shipping and unfavourable exchange rates make me a sad panda.
