The Ray Charles one is infinitely better than the Johnny Carson one. I liked it a lot.

Ray Charles was funny. The Carson one wasn't.

I thought the Ray Charles one was funnier, but I have a certain fondness for having an industry great like Carson telling a dinosaur he'd lick his balls for a puff.
