I'd have Lenny shopping in the store with this dialog:

"These are nice, but where are the extremely-large multi-colored condoms?"

I was afraid of that. I'm having trouble making a dress shape in Corel Draw.

Revised, and less condom-like.

I like the original, actually. It's more abstract. It says, "here are some clothes for sale," not "here are a bunch of dresses for sale." The abiguity of the first one works better for this site, I think.

Plus, unimaginative people can make lame-ass condom jokes.

I like them both!

Or leave the SALE off and we can make jokes about people being in the closet.

It's up to Brad if he wants them at all.

I think it would be a useful background, especially for people who wanted to make a comic that was set in a clothing store of some kind.

Or even a store that is having a sale.

I tried a bunch of different things, but nothing said "store" like the clothes.

This is good, just trying to decide which I like better. I do like vague.

Vague = good. I also like chaody's suggestion of removing the SALE sign.

I'm not sure that without the sale sign that it looks like a store. I think I'd eliminate the clothes before that. My original cut at this had a generic display case so it could be any type of store... except hey just looked like a couple of boxes.

Maybe I should take a different approach and just try shelves with multicolored things on them.

Or they could both be put up.

I like the second one to be honest, my character could use a new skirt anyway.
