Also, dont rely so much on narration. There are rare examples of when a lenghty exposition works.
if your "story" is not simple enough to tell in three panels and a few lines of dialogue, then dont tell the story. Remember:
1st Panel ==> Introduction.
2nd Panel ==> Set Up
3rd Panel => Punch Line.
