Any help at all to make my comics funnier would be appreciated.

Is there any reason at all why nobody's responding to any of my comic posts?

If you insist...

I think your timing, your setup, and your structure -- and even your spelling, grammar and typing -- are all fine. The only problem is the joke itself: it isn't funny. Keep at it, though.

What would make it funnier then? The H is apparently the comedic variable. Hitler? (Hugh) Hefner? Hal Sparks?

I think there's no indication as to why his motto would calm him down.

I think I'd reverse the characters (so the computer guy is on the right) and do something like this:

"Oh shits, man! Someone gave us a bad vote on Stripcreator!"

"So?"

"So I'm going to find out who he is and disembowel him!"

"Dude, cool it. Remember your motto, WWBFD?"

"Oh yeah. What Would Barney Fife Do?"

"Right. Now go in the corner and whine ineffectually."

Or something like that. The structure puts the reveal of the meaning of WWBFD right at the beginning of the last panel, and leaves room to explain what that would be. I did Barney Fife because I think it's pretty universal, but you could also do something like:

"Oh yeah. What Would Bill Mumy Do?"

"Right. Now go in the corner and wish them into the cornfield."

Or, if you use the fat character:

"Oh yeah. What Would William Shatner Do?"

"Right. Now go in the kitchen and eat something."

Okay, I'm officially old.

And also, concerning your critique, agreed and understood. Thanks for the input.

He'd wish them into the cornfield.

Old Twilight Zone episode.

Isn't it "what would Brian Boitano do"?

Actually, it's "What Would Jesus Do?" But that's just not as funny.

How's the comic now? Any better?

Better structured, though Judd Nelson is a pop culture reference with which I am not familiar.

He was the jackass from The Breakfast Club. Though a case could be made that they're all jackasses. If it's a question of which pop culture reference people are more likely to get, Judd Nelson isn't as esoteric as Bill Mumy.

Depends on how old you are. Breakfast Club came out just after I was past the age of caring.
