When I read them now earthdestruct inc. #2's the only one I find funny.

But the "hidden" punch-line in the first strip was that he had forgotten his mother's birthday.
I could have made it more clear by changing the dialog and stuff... but whatever.

I thought the first one you posted, whatever it was called, was good. Although not in the way you intended it, certainly. I interpreted as kind of a random lament from this guy who just can't get enough reasons to be depressed and is now scraping the bottom of the barrel looking for things to complain and whine about. Good show.
