Brad, for your consideration, I present GUY! He's both better looking and a better actor than Vin Disel and Eminem combined!

Angry:

Beaten:

Bored/Sleepy/Horny:

Confused:

Something I've had a lot of problems getting around is a smooth outline- as I'm sure you know the only way to do this is to have the character fade into the background slightly, but it won't work with both light and dark backgrounds:

If you can figure out a good way around this PLEASE let me know... I've been experimenting with a grey outline and other things, but nothing I'm happy with. They either come out with a blocky outline or you need 2 characters- 1 for dark and 1 for light backgrounds (which suits my needs, but won't work for stripcreator).

I think it all depends on what program you're using. Although that's the first time I've noticed that stupid white outline for these. I don't have a clue how to get rid of those stupid things.

It's plagued me for a while, I don't mind telling you. It's just the light pixels around the image. The rest of the character is awesome though.

It's quite hard to see his mouth in his "happy" pose (at least on this laptop). Maybe you should outline it or make his skin a bit darker or something.

So how come the bored guy doesn't have any? I think you should get rid of them altogether. They do look like a milk moustache.

Because not every mouth shape is going to show the teeth, depending on where the lips are.

Same here. It just needs an outline around it really.

I like the cumstache. It opens the character up to a bunch of thinly-veiled fellatio jokes.

Joking aside, I have to say Rabid has done an incredible amount of work for this site. He may need to get a life, but the amount of backgrounds he's supplied us is awesome, and I for one, love cumstache man.

He's not looking at anyone though, except for the reader, and unless you're some kind of washed up hack like KajunFirefly you don't make comics that break the fourth wall any more.

Good point, Choobs. Rabid, if you just aim the eyes differently they should be perfect.

So, he faces the reader, and just turns his eyes to look at the character next to him? That's dumb. Keep the characters the way they are except for the 'tache.

He is looking at the reader because I am horribly bad at drawing things in 3/4 view. For me to make him looking at the other character this would require me to turn his entire head, not just his eyes. And seeing as how this is done in a 2D drawing program, you can all just cunt off.

I didn't ask you to turn his head. I told you to keep him the way he is apart from the semen on his face. The wirthling character faces the reader, and no one's ever complained about that.

Jesus Christ! Don't turn his head, and you don't actually NEED to do anything. It would be better if he was looking (just with his eyes) at whoever's next to him. Don't listen to dougan, because people die from that all the time.

The character facing the "screen" and looking at the other character is fine. It's called a "sideways glance".

Here's an example of it:

Rabid, I like the characters. They're fine just the way they are, but if you want them to relate to the other character in the comic more, just move the eyes in a different direction. I know what you mean about the 3/4 aspect. It's difficult.

Happy is the only one without a black line on the bottom of the teeth, so if you add that it'd look fine. I agree about aiming the irises to the side. As well as the pupils. Otherwise it would look weird. I also agree that that guy kicks ass, good jorb. I also agree that nine out of ten dentists agree that gum is for homos. I agree.

it's the anti-alias on the outline of the character, turn off smoothing for the outline and you wont get that.

Ok, again I wasn't sure if it would take a bunch more work to just move the pupils over and still make it look right. I just did a test and it seems to work fine.

I've also removed the teeth from all the faces except the beaten one.

I would also like to hear if Brad is planning on adding these or not. Although it may just be that I'm waiting in line behind Kaddar's 30 characters.

Also, if there's any "emotions" you think this character could still use (that cannot be derived from the ones I've already made) please let me know.

Do this emotion:

O_$
\v/
-w-
\x/

I can't think of what it's called, but it kicks ass.
That's an ascii face. I made it.

I think it's a great character and certainly up to the standards of the ones we already have. And characters with different expressions are always useful.

Yep, I can add these once you're done with them. My only issue would be to try and keep the file sizes down if you want that many variations on the same character.

It looks like I got the left and right mixed up on the "Beaten" ones.

I got the file sizes down to as low as I could (about 2.5kb each).
