Every 3rd or 4th time I visit the site I see a picture of the two asian girls against the Farm background, instead of a top rated comic I should be seeing. Is anyone else seeing this? It's not really a problem, I'm just wondering why it's doing that.

Yep, I've had this 3 times now. I've also noticed that when it happens the "read this comic" link isn't there.

I just refreshed the front page twice there and managed to get the twighlight zone farm comic on the second try.

Also: I have managed to get this "bug" on Firefox, IE5 and now Safari and every time the "view this comic" link is missing.

Yeah, it comes up regularly for me.

I think it's what happens when there's no dialog in the first panel of the selected comic. Rather than have a teaser panel that doesn't convey any information. Or something along those lines.

evil_d is correct and wins a car.

If the first panel of the randomly selected comic is blank, it puts that in its place to avoid going back to get another one (which is another database hit).

I also recently had to add another check to make sure the first panel isn't hugely expanded. I think there are still a couple that will get through though.

The placeholder comic should only appear rarely, but maybe I should fix that to do something else.

Instead of the Asian girls, it should have kajun1 and lara2 from the forumusers category. Everyone knows those are the most attractive characters on this site.

I keep getting this weird bug where none of the comics I see are funny.
