I just discovered Stripcreator yesterday and I love it, most especially since I can't even draw a decent stickfigure.

Here's my question: I really need a giant ice cream cone for a character. Is it acceptable to put in requests for things like that here in the forum?

It is. And I think it's a great idea. We just need to find someone with the time and ability to draw it for you.

Yay. So, did I put this in the right place for requests, or should I ask a moderator to move it?

First off, welcome aboard.

Now to your question. Periodically, people put in requests for characters they would like to see here but it seems like a bit of a long, drawn out process to get new stuff on the site as there are a lot of characters just waiting to get on the site who are already drawn (props to Kaddar and Rabid and other fine folks like that). Also, generally, Brad is looking for characters with multiple possible uses or scenarios to be placed in.

In a nutshell, you can put in the request but it might take a while and may not happen at all. But you can always improvise a character into being an ice cream. The dil character in the 'submitted' catagory may make a nice dollop of ice cream.

Presenting: Edgar, the Icecream Man.

You'll have to use photoshop to edit it into comics though, unless you want to try and talk Brad into adding it to the site.

P.S. I don't know how much you know about using photoshop/paint, PM me if you need some pointers. It's pretty easy to do.

Edgar the Ice Cream Man is the single greatest thing I've seen on this site in years!

All you have to do is use a character like the zombie, cop, etc. and have him say "I am ice cream." Or do a narrative caption that says, "The zombie/cop/etc. in this panel is ice cream."

This reminds me like a year or so ago I was told to submit 3 pictures, one of an ice cream cone man, one donut man and one other dude I drew that looked kind of like a snowman with claws. And I never did it. This just proves that sometimes I can do the right thing.

I wish Skagg had submitted more art before he went to the moon.

Aren't people and animals not really ice cream?
