I've thought about it all day, and I can't come up with a suitable topic for this contest. Therefore, I'm going to open it up to the masses:

The first person to reply to this message gets to decide the theme.

I'll still do the judging, which will be by the end of Wednesday the 13th, but I'm not going to pick the subject. The person who does decide the subject is still eligible to compete in the contest.

I will give one rule: someone in the strip must make a derogatory reference to someone's mom (his/her own, the other character's, someone else completely, doesn't matter whose). Someone bail me out here, and then everyone bring the funny!

The theme could be the blue guy from Kaddar gets bitten by a rabied dog. You have to send in a series for this one. Then he becomes a superhero dressed as a dog. He has to do something in between the origin and the idea-I'm going to be a superhero.

I will give biped all due credit for making what is his usual standard of comic, which is pretty darn good I reckon. However, he doesn't have anyone insulting someone's mother. He has a mother, he has her life threatened, but no one insulting her. Hopefully for his sake that's not instant disqualification...so BigFrank I wouldn't say he wins automatically. Plus mine is pretty funny too, I know I'm biased a bit but I'm not going to lie. If biped wins he certainly earned it, but it's not a shoe-in by any means.

I appreciate the sentiment, Omni. Although I would say that threatening your mother's life constitues an insult. Anyway, it's up to habnem to decide, so...
