The first was repetitive. It was seriously unfunny because it was 3 panels of the same thing. Had you shortened it to one panel, by the wonderfulness that is donating or by blacking out the first and third panels, it would still be unfunny. But I'm a smoker.
The second one was coming along nicely, but the punchline lacked punch. It wasn't in desperate need of help, but it was really just okay.
