Boys, the guy and the bug, the yank in aussie (sic), each invoke the male territorial imperative.
Boys begins set in a bar,and each of the boys is holding a drink. These nuances are what some critics have been calling a defining voice for the post-millenial webcomic world.
In panel three, dramatic tension is released when the female lead responds, "Now now boys." This plot development could go places.
In "guy and bug", the conflict for territory is more stark, between a huminoid and a giant insect. For now, human technology remains the victor, but for how long?
An armed society is a polite society, so don't be rood to a kangaroo.
