makes more sense than him blowing his brains out because Courtney did all the smack. he was Kurt Cobain, you think he couldn't just call some sweaty A+R guy and have a truckload brought over, any time he wanted?

I liked the music myself. Lots of angst and basically how i felt when I was 15.

Nirvana were, for me, a life-changing experience. i no longer passively sat and let radio dictate to me, i sought out new shit - which has made me the audiophile i am today, mainly because of Kurt's obscure influences (at the time, the Pixies were obscure... Wire even moreso)

well, after i'd given up on humanty, i figured it was time to give that whole 'punk' thing i'd been hearing so much about a whirl. i actually pulled it off for a while, several years later. and now i'm growing up mostly well adjusted.

but i always thought nirvana was crap.

I grew up an anti-establishment punk rocker back when punk was punk and I still loved Nirvana. They were awesome.

great. and i still think they were crap. now that we've cleared up the matter of whether or not people have differing opinions on nirvana, can we move on to something more interesting, like perhaps post-mortem anal rape?
