Memento in Three Panels has been done before, but that's not a bad version of it.
Today in Bible History is very good. In fact, it could have almost been an entry for a comic contest I ran recently...

I think it was your contest that got me thinking about it. But the idea had been bouncing around in my head for a while (ever since I found that particular verse).
