I found this Monopoly clone board game at a thrift store a couple years back. Here's some stuff from the game instructions:
"1. Decide whether you'll play as a black person or a white. If more than half the players want to be black, roll high-dice. The whites are never the minority--they are like two out of three, two our of four, or four out of seven.
2. Draw cash from the bank--$10,000 for each black player, $1,000,000 for each white player.
3. Stack the two decks of Opportunity Cards face down on the board so that you only see the backs of the cards. The Black Cards go in the rectangle on the ghetto-integrated side of the board, the white cards on the suburban-estate side."
"Black players use the strips of black-power paper to mark each property they buy, thus marking the decline of white domination."
"A black player does not pay rent in the Suburban or Estate zone unless blacks own property there. When a black player lands on an unsold property in a zone that is restricted to him, no auction is held. He waits there rent-free until his next roll."
"Whites buy property anywhere, anytime. But a black player must have $1,000,000 in net assets--property plus cash, minus debts--before he can buy into either of the Estate neighborhoods. And he cannot buy into either Suburban neighborhood unless he: a) finds a white owner ready to sell privately, perhaps at a premium; or b) Bids highest for a property at a white player's bankruptcy auction."
"A well organized community of black players can become almost invincible; the individualistic ethic of rich whites does not usually encourage such group cooperation."
"When a white player goes bankrupt, he is out of the game, psychologically defeated. When a black player goes bankrupt, he goes on welfare and collects $5,000 from each white player. He pays no rent until he passes Treasury again and goes off welfare."
This game was invented by the psychology department of the University of California around 1970. It's just like Monopoly, except it teaches you how blacks are oppressed by whites.
