I missed out on one job that would have been perfect for me because I couldn't relocat to Texas, as some of you already know.

I DON'T want to miss out on this one.

crabby has offered to cross his fingers for me (I think he'll give up once I get an interview, I promised to meet up with him as the company is Chicago based), I'm hoping you all will cross your fingers as well. I'm really hoping to get this job. So please, just a couple good thoughts my way, please?

Okay I'm still stuck at this job, the job I regret applying for every freaking day.

Here's the new one I am applying for after I leave work today (I have to call and can't do so from work): Personal Assistant

After reading the description I've decided I am perfectly matched with their expectations; someone who is young, organized, with experience or interest in marketing & real estate, female, who knows basic accounting proceedures (thank god I've just finished my class work on that one), and someone who has background in secretarial work.

Here's the fun part: my references document is terrible. Some phone numbers are disconnected, some are for residences that my friends no longer occupy, and some are for people I don't even remember talking to. If you'd like to make it onto the new reference list, please PM me with your full name, address, and a phone number you would actually answer. I'd love for JesusSandwich to agree to do this just so he would say to the guy "Gia can beat a bear to death using only her eyelashes." You can be funny or you can be serious about my character, doesn't matter. There's also no guarantee this guy will call you, but I already know he has an amazing sense of humor, so I definitely want to get that bear death by eyelashes in there somewhere.
