I donated 50 cents once. From a credit card through my PayPal account.

Well, I must say, that's a kick in the nuts to the guy who's letting you fuck around on his site for free.

Well I was poor at the time. And that was all of my monthly entertainment budget. Since then I've donated several times. In fact, I might just go do so now, despite being unemployed and having depleted my life savings just to show how much cooler I am than you.

So there.

I don`t know if this is true or not, but I`ve heard that PayPal has some kind of flat service charge for anyone who receives money from it, so if you send someone an amount as low as $1, you`re actually making them lose money.

Only if it's from credit cards or something about personal accounts. I have a business account with mine, so in the event someone wants to give me money, i don't have to worry about fees as much.

Then again, PayPal is run by crooks. I made a rant about it.

I donated ten or twenty bucks, from memory, but that was about four and a half years ago.

I should probably donate again while I'm still getting a good steady paycheck and can afford to.

Thank you all for reminding me.

It's been FAR too long since I donated, and though I was "gone" for about a year or more, it's prolly time to fork up some cash again, especially since I'm back to making comics and forum posts instead of just lurking and laughing.

I had a person who was unable to attend my wedding send me $1 in the mail. Though I would have prefered his attendance, it was really nice of him to try to help in the way that he could. brad's not that greedy. He knows we all have our own problems and we do what we can. I guess it's worse now that there's so many donor "options", when before it was just a modest button at the bottom of the page that wasn't glaring you in the face like the shiny gold stars are.

One time when I ran for office, I asked people to donate, and I got stony sullen looks. But them I asked people to donate $1, and a bunch of people did, and some put in $5 or $10. Small donations from lots of people adds up to more than big donations from a few people.
I became a donor here because of one of my fans, and I wouldn't have been comfortable asking her for a lot of money, so we tested it with a small amount.

Can I donate pictures of naked midget negroes with hats that say "Keep on Truckin'"?
If not, The world is dead to me.
