not_Scyess November 5, 2005 10:47 AM	That comic is actually a good set up for somthing... but the joke itself isn't funny enough to make it a good comic. Maybe if the 2nd pencil in the 2nd panel said something funny in response it might help. For example, "You're lukcy I don't the sharpener." Not great, but an example.

You're missing the point (nyuk, nyuk) -- The pencil just was not too sharp. Seriously, here's what I'd do to improve the strip: Why is a pencil asking what one pencil said to the other? Move the question up to the narration box, and shrink the comic down to one panel.
