The first comic reminded me of this time I said "your mom" to someone and then I realized that his mom was dead and I was like "I mean... your dad" and then I realized that his dad was in jail for murdering his mom and then I paused for a moment and gave him some candy that I luckily had.

Also, once I got a hole-in-one on Mario Golf on my Game Boy and I kept making him watch a repeat of it and told him that I was just really good at getting a hole-in-one
