A few CC's ago, Scyess ran a very unique competition. I've been thinking something along those lines would make a nice-ongoing contest on its own, so:

Time-released Competition

The premise is similar to the linked CC above in that you don't really know what to expect next. But my spin on it is that instead of simply changing the theme, I can add/change any or all the rules as I go along.

Example: You submit a photoshopped entry and then 3 days later I add the rule "No photoshopping allowed". Sorry, but you're now disqualified. Or the judge can decide how many panels are acceptable halfway through. Or require the use of the nail-in-the-head dude right before judging. You can take nothing for granted.

I want to keep it relatively simple right now, so I wont be introducing or changing any rules more than once a day.

Judging will be on Novemeber 25.

RULE NO. 1: There must be at least one reference to peanut butter in your comic.

Okay... so... hopefully it will be fun.

Not a bad idea, but I think this belongs in the More Comic Competitions board rather than here.

Good start so far. Okay, so:

RULE NO. 2: Entries made after 11-12-05 8:00pm SC-time need one randomized panel to qualify (honor system here).

After a blistering three-day weekend of hard drug abuse, I'm back with:

RULE NO. 4: All new entries must be a series of four or more panels; meaning the panel-length of each episode of the series is up to you, but the series' grand total of panels must add up to four or more.

[br] Note: Rules 1-3 still apply. I'm trying to keep this thing fresh and evolving, but not too infuriating this go-around. Therefore I wont introduce/switch rules that negate any former entries, and I wont count out entries that are "not" compliant due to vagueness on my part.

To recap the rules: Peanut butter themed series of a length of four or more panels, containing one random panel and one panel with a layout borrowed from a previous entry but with new dialogue.

Damn my hectic, busy life! Damn it to Hell!

Hmm, that gives me an idea.

RULE NO.5: New entries must contain the phrase "Damn it to Hell!" You can parse it and punctuate it anyway you like.

Next post from me on this thread will be the judging on the 25th.

Okay, enough with this already! This has gone on long enough! Anyone caught submitting any more entries to this contest will have their genitalia removed and rotisserie cooked! Then I will eat them and be the most genitalia-ed man on Earth!

I may have had this go on for too long, but I wanted to give it a chance amongst all the other contests and let people have enough time to get the sense of it.

The guy who got-it-the-most with the most-gettingest-of-all-comic is bi "Really Has Got It" ped for:

/comics/biped/323260/

&

/comics/biped/323261/

If it interests him at all, then another one of these is his for the taking (I cant promise he'll be as merciful as I am when it comes to genitals and their consumption.).
