Is there any reason why a comic would show up on the "View All Comics" page, but not on the "Last Twenty Comics By Non-Donors" on the front page?

It's happening to mine and I've been trying to figure out why. The only thing I can think of is that sometimes when I use Edit Account and don't type a password in the Confirm Password text box, it asks me "which account do you want to edit" and then gives me a drop-down list with my account name appearing twice.

I am pretty sure it doesn't need a certain number of linkers, and I know unrated comics have appeared there before. I just thought it was odd that people with only 2-3 comics are appearing there, yet I've cleared 40 and still haven't showed up. I've also tried logging out of my session, but mine still don't show up on my list when I do that (even if I, say, logged in and out in Firefox and then try IE, which I almost never touch). I've tried every setting I can think of in Edit Account, and so far it's been to no avail.

Apologies if I missed another thread about this, but I tried a search and the FAQ and couldn't find anything concerning the topic. Anything anyone can tell me would be appreciated. Thanks! :)

Go to edit account and make sure the checkbox that says "List new comics on front page" is checked. If it's not, your comics won't show up there.

I don't actually have that check box when I go to Edit Account; as I understood it from reading other posts, only donors may set this?

It's probably a stupid question, but did you try refreshing the homepage? Linking back and forth won't refresh the information.

I've been experiencing this, too. Like our friend here, I edit my account without the password in both fields. The box is checked for comics to appear, so I'm a little in the dark about the whole situation.

I've tried that a million times to no avail.

Yeah, it was a stupid question, I checked in all comics and there are a bunch that were made after the ones on the homepage that are missing.

Yup, I had tried refreshing the home page as well as logging out entirely or trying another browser that hadn't been on StripCreator at all (see my first post). Neither were effective.

It looks like LuckyGuess has a check box on his edit account page, so I think nondonors can check that option. But I don't have a non donor account to switch to to check.

I definitely lack this check-box on my Edit Account page. The only checkbox I have is "Allow Comic Comments."

I just did another one (Steve & Squirrel #44) about 45 seconds ago, and am still experiencing the same problem.

I suppose us nondonors must wait in the shadows until we shoot a few bucks Brads way. So once I get a bank account, a credit card, and a job, I'll see my comics on the main page.

My non-donor account does not have that little checkbox, but my donor account does. And when I made a comic under my non-donor account yesterday, the comic didn't show up in the "last 20" but did show up in the "all comics." It did the same thing on both accounts. And when I made a comic a few weeks ago with that account, the comic showed up neither under the "last 20" or the "all comics." In fact, there was a lot of comics that showed up under the "all comics" but not under the "last 20." I took a screenshot, meaning to ask Brad about it, but forgot.

This should (hopefully) be fixed now, there was a bug that flipped the "don't display" switch.

Well done, it appears to have worked this last time. Many thanks.
