whats that film where a bunch of gangs go bout newyork trying to kill each other

fairly old

got a gang of face-painted baseball playas

it just hit me after the first viewing of it that those bastard D-12 kids ripped it off a treat in their oh-so-subtle rip-off video

come on, this forum is full of geeks and film buffs, at least one person has to know the title of this trivial film

That's really narrowing it down.

I've been looking for a movie I saw as a teenager FORfrickinEVER. It was a terrible B-movie, but so bad it was funny. It was a movie set in a world where very trusting 20-something girls had no problem opening the door in their bra and panties at 3am at night to a homicidal clown that would say, in a monotone, "Time for Bobo", then kill them. Good stuff.

There is a reward for the title. (One night of anything-goes with crabby.)

Nope. That actually would have sucked if it was the title after all the looking.

I'm starting to give up hope since it seems that there was a law passed that one out of every three B-movies was required to have a clown named Bobo in it. One day I'll find the phrase "Time for Bobo" in my search results and all will be good.

It could be Killer Clowns from Outer Space.

I thoroughly recommend digging out an old cop/serial killer movie called "Best Seller" , with Brian Dennehy and James Woods at his VERY best as a hitman without a conscience.

Hes chilling at times.

The one crappy movie I've been trying hard to find is Dead Heat, the one with the resurrection machine as the main plot point. They never show that damn thing on TV anymore, even at 2 AM.

Those two aren't it, unfortunately. Though Out of the Dark looks a lot like it, as does another one I found today called something like The Invisible Dr. McLane.

Oh, well. Screw trying to broaden my horizons. Back to midget porn with me.

Uhhmm... I think it is Out of the Dark. As I recall, the guy in the clown mask in that one actually called himself Bobo...

I've found a lot of Horror B-movies that have a killer clown in it named Bobo. That's why I was saying it's so hard to find, too many look like it.

The plot on that one sounded different than what I remember, and the year (1988) seemed way too new. I was thinking it had the fine film quality that only 70s movies had. I'll check again though.

Out of the Dark looked made for TV, to me, but it was still fairly violent and full of gratuitous tit-shots. I get the feeling it was an early HBO effort, made at the tail-end of the slasher craze.

You've seen it? If so, remember the line "Time for Bobo"? If memory serves, the clown used it 30 or 40 times. (It's how he kicked off conversations.)

No, I don't think that's it, then.

I suggest you ask on alt.horror, but be prepared to ignore the deluge of MOTEL HELL / TOURIST TRAP /THE NECRO FILES that will inevitably follow. Running gag that has run too long, can't be fucked explaining.

I'll do that and I'll do that. Thanks.
