I edited my profile and now any link to an image, (and I chose 60X60) is returning an error that the file is too large or invalid. I have tried both gif and jpg formats.

It might be because the file size is too big. Is there a limit on how many KBs you can have?

Reduce it to 59x59, that should fix it.
