I don't know if this has been covered before, but I just noticed the lines in the signatures seem to change constantly. These are some of me and crabby's sigs from one page of one thread:

Not like a huge problem, but it's sort of annoying once you've notice it, which you now have.

I think it's because the poster's name, avatar and star rating take up space on the left, so if it's a short post the box on the left will be bigger than the text, and the text is filled out into that space. With a post longer than that stuff the sig is always right at the bottom.

Actually that does explain it. Well done. I think it's disconcerting to look at.

Speaking of annoying signature thingies, and my anal-retentive nature, the
and

(and

) doesn't work anymore. So now my signatures look really lame when I have a quotation. I like having the originator underneath said quotation. Like my current signature would ideally look like:

"Even as Hal Jordan lies helpless--Oliver Queen is battered by a wedge of flying fish..."
- Justice League of America #19 1963

So I typed it as:

"Even as Hal Jordan lies helpless--Oliver Queen is battered by a wedge of flying fish..."

- Justice League of America #19 1963

But, instead it looks like crap. I.E.:

"Even as Hal Jordan lies helpless--Oliver Queen is battered by a wedge of flying fish..." - Justice League of America #19 1963

I'm almost positive the

and
worked before Brad redid the signatures to disable pictures. Any chance you could fix this? It's bad enough people keep de-alphabetizing my CDs, but this is driving me over the edge!

Etc.

Oh yeah, ideally ideally I would like to be able to indent so the originator would be indented under the quotation, but it's not entirely necessary.

I enabled the BR tag. P looks funky because the sig is already enclosed in P tags.

Also you can indent using nbsp codes.

Now that I've noticed it, I find it neither annoying nor disconcerting.
