Well as you can see, I'm using the double fire power up. Double fire creates a small fire ball that explodes on impact into many smaller balls. While fun to use, this weapon is not particularly useful during boss battles or in the final stages, mainly due to it's slow rate of fire. And even the kitsch factor of exploding fire balls gets boring after a while.
What I'm trying to say is this: Change up the format. I don't really see jokes in this, just a plot. Aside from "I don't like this place. It's really white," there is little here that really makes me want to read further. I don't know if you're going for pure plot or not, or if there's a massive joke at the end I'm not aware of. Is there a joke? And if so, is it worth the commitment? Ask yourself these questions as you figure out your plot formula. A nice payoff every three or four comics will hook more potential readers.
Holy bejeezus, you remind me of me when I was your age. Which makes me feel old. Except that I'm not old. In any case, keep making comics regardless of whether you take my advice or not.
And ALWAYS use the blue laser/green ninja star combo. It's the best weapon in the game.
