So as if the FedEx fun wasn't bad enough last time, this time I'm even more flabbergasted. I ordered a video processor from Woot.com and they dutifully shipped it from FedEx. FedEx proceeded to demonstrate their lack of comprehension. I looked at the tracking to see why it hadn't come yet and lo! this is what I noticed.

Now, if you look at a map of the US, you'll notice that Wisconsin is a little farther away from California than Wyoming...by 1051 MILES!

Aren't they supposed to be able to understand the difference between WY and WI? Even if it's all run by illiterates, I'd think the automated bar code system they're always harping on would notice the difference between zip codes 82072 and 53151.

I'm going to hire people to bring me stuff by alpaca. It will get here the same time anyway.

Guy across the hall from me lives in New Berlin... It's apparently the biggest hick town in all of Wisconsin, so go Ivy!

They should go back to delivering mail with giant albatrosses.

I've been to Eau Claire, Wisconsin. It was unwonderful.

Newberlin is wholly unlike Old Berlin. Except for the anti-semitism. It's got that in spades.

So I looked at the tracking info Friday night and it said the package was delivered to my apartment at 7:18am on March 4.

Now, I had no idea delivery techniques were so advanced. Not only are packages now able to blend light around them, thus rendering the entire package invisible, but they are also able to go into the future and make their deliveries.

I'm so impressed that I'm going to go out into the foyer and feel around for the package. I wish I had known it was there this whole time. I just hope invisibility doesn't hamper the video processor inside.

Here I go to apply for a job with FedEx.

Maybe they just felt that it should see the big city before it went to Wyoming to die.

I didn't say they actually knew a big city when they saw it.

WI has.. a very.. I dunno. There's some pretty self-important people if you look at the fact that, like, their most famous city, I.E: Green Bay, is pretty much just a small, shitty version of Cleveland.

Milwaukee is their big city. The population of Green Bay is like 4. However, Milwaukee is nothing but a shittier version of Cleveland.

I once drove through Wisconsin going from Chicago to Minneapolis. Even though there was no sign marking my entrance into said state, I knew I was there when I saw a giant, glowing yellow sign that said "Cheese."

I looked everywhere and never saw a building it was attached to. It just came out of the woods to inform me that somewhere, somehow, there was cheese in them thar woods.
