My other issue with regular expressions came a while back when I wanted to give people pretty homepage URLs on the StripCreator instead of big ugly PHP ones. I have been victorious!

So now, for instance, instead of telling people that your comics are at:

http://www.stripcreator.com?author=evil_d

You could use the much nicer:

http://www.stripcreator.com/~evil_d

As though the StripCreator were some sort of ISP or something. I think it's neat. Yay for neat!

First (and probably not last) issue: it doesn't work for usernames that have spaces in them.

Yes... anyone who wants to start telling people that their comics are at http://www.stripcreator.com/~evil_d is welcome to do so.

Don't tease the new feature, evil_d.

Does replacing the space with a "%20" work? It does when I try typing URLs with spaces...

No it does not.

I took a shot at it today but I wasn't able to get it to work. URLs get all crazy when you put spaces into them for whatever reason.
