I'm getting a hard on just thinking about the mother of those kittens eating them.

I like cats and all, but I'm not sure I see the point in breeding them. It seems like they do an awfully good job of breeding all on thier own.

I think it would make alot more sense to breed pandas or white rhinos.

In this case it's for breeding cats of specific breeds, which have distinctive looks and personalities.

So you're saying that white rhinos don't have distinctive looks and personalities?

Those kittens don't look anything like the mother (if that is the mother.) And the mother cat looks like anyother cat wandering the streets, so, I still don't see the point of it.

Elvira: White rhinos aren't as easy to breed in your house. You should know that.

Tony: What? What should I know? Why you always telling me I should know something?

Red and orange cats are the devil. Breeding more of them is introducing more evil into the world.

It's like introducing something that there already is too many of. I'm sure somewhere a lonely old woman is creaming her panties at the thought of these kittens. I know I am.

I demand you get rid of the mother cat and then introduce a nanny-cat to the baby cats. This nanny-cat will then teach the baby cats to sing and eventually the father cat will fall in love with the nanny cat. You then introduce a race of nazi-cats and they take over the singing cat family's country. The singing cat family will then flee and roam the countryside while getting by on nothing but their love and their beautiful singing voices.

Okay, completely ignoring the debate between fuzzy and crabby over the validity of breeding cats when there are so many that are in desperate need for a home (even though the problem lies more in the people who don't get their mutt cats fixed rather than breeders who cater to a very teeny tiny portion of the population)...

I never said I didn't understand the point of breeding specific cats. I don't understand the point of breeding that mother cat cause she just looks like any gross street cat. At least breed winners.

That's what the mother looks like when she's not all icky after giving birth. Hardly a gross street cat.

Reputable breeders require the buyers to spay or neuter the cats when they are 6 months old. Unless you're selling to another breeder, of course. Some breeders we know spay and neuter before the sale (at 4 months old), but vets have differing opinions about whether it is good to do it that young.

How many people would own a cat if they weren't furry and cute? To me it's like staying in a relationship with someone who treats you badly just because they are attractive.

Not that I consider having a cat the same as screwing somebody.

Ok if you've read this far I might as well come clean; I do.

Why do people say that cats are aloof and not affectionate? Have you people ever had cats? If you did, did you just feed them and ignore them or what? You ignore a cat and it'll ignore you. Actually pay attention to a cat and it will pay attention to you. My neighbor's cats were the sweetest things on the planet because she paid attention them. Then she abandoned them and the lonliness drove them bananas and they tried to kill people.

At least cats are honest about their feelings, unlike humans. Humans get all passive-aggressive, codependant, and require therapy. Cats just tell you to fuck of if you're being an asshole and they don't take that kind of shit.

AngryAmerican

i never said they weren't or couldn't be affectionate.

i merely pointed out that a dog not only has a higher ballistic rating, but would actually attempt to protect you instead of hiding under the bed until the scariness was over.

From my experience, having never been without dogs until recently, I wouldn't want a dog around when being attacked. They get underfoot and bungle things. At least cats have the sense to get out of the way (though they have been known to attack burglars).

Besides, cats are useful weapons. I plan on throwing one at an attacker as a last resort.

Only because dogs have a pack mentality and view their owners as packmates.

My cat (I say 'my' but the cat claimed me, not the other way around) is very affectionate to me, but when she's pissed off she lets me know it. I've also seen her take down rabbits twice her size; I have no doubt she would tear apart anyone who attempted to kill me, her tuna supplier.
