I don't know about you guys, but the relentless need to come up with a punchline every three panels is taxing. And I don't even succeed at it that often.

Sometimes I want to do a longer setup. If we had a Sunday format, a 4 x 3 panel, I could do a longer setup.

There is, of course, room for abuse. Though the SC system is ingeniously designed, I'd think that a Sunday format would be a bit more of a hassle for the server/programming. So I'd recommend programming the system to only do a Sunday strip after doing six regular ones. Non-donors would be outaluck there in my SC world. Pony up a dollar or two to get the new format.

Anybody else like that idea?

When I make a series of comics, I often will have comics with no punchline that are used to set up the story more. No one is telling you to have a punchline in every comic as long as it leads to one eventually.

The voices in my head tell me to have a punchline-like line in every third panel or so...

Anyhow, do you like the idea of a Sunday format strip?
